Consular Legalisation

Consular LegalisationMinistry of Foreign Affairs is the only body which legalizes Polish documents for legal transactions in countries that are not party to the Hague Convention of 1961 for abolishing the requirement of legalization for foreign public documents.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not have competence in checking whether the document is authentic and whether the content of this document is true. Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms the credibility of the signature so that the document can be considered outside Polish borders.
